During normal use leather can be scratched. You can get rid of scratches, wiping the product with a soft, clean, damp cloth or with a leather conditioner.
To protect the leather from water, rain, snow, it should be treated with water-resistant care products and waterproof care products like Fiebing's Golden Mink Oil Leather Preserver, Chamberlains leather milk, or others. The main recommendation for care products is to be on a natural basis as beeswax or oils.
Please note that most leather conditioners can cause the darkening of leather color. It is also advised to apply leather conditioner every 1-3 months (depending on the product type and frequency of use) to moisten leather and make it last longer.
If the leather gets wet under the rain or snow, it recommended to wipe it with a damp cloth. It is not recommended to allow the item constant contact with water.
The leather item is better to store in a dark, chill cupboard. It is recommended to stuff it with paper to save its form. It’s not recommended to use plastic bags for storing leather items as it further to corrosion of leather.
